Annette De Lorenzo is a senior consultant with Sommers & Assoc. specializing in communications audits and corporate positioning strategies and campaigns.

Before establishing Detroit-based De Lorenzo PR, an affiliate of Sommers & Assoc., in 1996, she served as vice president, public affairs for the Henry Ford Health System. Miss De Lorenzo has twenty years experience as a public relations consultant in New York and Chicago as a senior vice president of Hill and Knowlton and, earlier, a vice president of Burson-Marsteller; while with those firms, among the clients she has counseled are IBM, Deloitte & Touche, Armstrong World Industries, the American Red Cross and Petroleos de Venezuela.

Miss De Lorenzo also served as vice president, corporate communications at International Harvester (now Navistar) in Chicago, and of Savin Corporation in Stamford, CT. In both positions, she was responsible for corporate advertising, public relations, government affairs, shareholder and investor relations, and community outreach.

Miss De Lorenzo received her B.A. from Manhattanville College and an M.S. from Columbia University.
